Tucked away in the northern end of Moreton Bay, the quiet little township of Beachmere is a haven of marine life and activities.
Just across the bay lies the magnificent Moreton Island National Park, a beautiful tapestry of islands, sandy beaches, coral reefs, rocky outcrops, seagrass meadows, mangrove forests and mudflats. It’s easy to understand why the park supports such an abundance of marine life including thousands of fish species which share the waters with seven species of marine turtles, dolphins, whales on migration and dugongs.
