New South Wales (NSW) is a melting pot of vibrant urban areas and wonderful natural landscapes ranging from the Blue Mountains range to Sydney Harbour. But it’s the wide range of metropolitan centres across NSW make the state a popular retirement option. Surrounding regions of Sydney such as the Hunter Valley and Orange are known for exceptional food and wine production. The New South Wales coastline is lined with a number of beach front towns with pristine beaches and natural marine parks. Statewide, NSW has well developed infrastructure including efficient highways and public transportations. This makes travelling within the state easy for non-driving retirees. There is a large offering of retirement villages and over 55s villages in NSW with various offerings to suit seniors needs. NSW and its regional centres have a strong network of healthcare support and support network.

Annie has a long career in both nursing and the media. She has planned and co-ordinated the medical support from both international TV productions and major stadium events. In recent years she has been a primary family carer plus involved in structured carer support.
