South Australia (SA) is a state known for its vibrant culture, growing economy and beautifully varied natural landscapes. Adelaide is the state’s main city centre. Adelaide has a strong and affordable quality of live with many cultural and social points of interest. Regions with SA include the Barossa Valley made famous for its production of world acclaimed wines. Mining activities fuel SA’s economy supplemented with defence and manufacturing. Renewable energies also feature heavily with initiatives such as Tesla’s battery project in Jamestown. Ageing in South Australia is met with the challenges that a rural location can deliver. The majority of South Australia’s ageing infrastructure are located in Adelaide which has the largest offering of residential aged care.
