Home Care

The idea of home care is to maintain a person’s quality of life in their home by helping them with their physical needs and daily activities.

Aged Care

Aged care is the living and nursing care services for older Australians who can no longer live independently or need help to stay in their homes.

Aged care in Australia

"Precious Time"

13 weeks to secure an aged care place for your mum.

There is a ‘system’ to achieving the best aged care result for your mum or dad. There will be pressure to ‘do something now’ but it’s equally important to invest the time, precious time, to complete each of the steps and get the best result for your loved one. Watch the video, take the 9 agedcare101 steps and breathe easy.

The timeframes in our video are guidelines only. In some instances, your loved one can move into an aged care home once they have received their Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) report. You will pay a daily fee until you complete an income and assets test and establish if you’re eligible for government contribution.
