Newly refurbished, Lara Aged Care provides luxury accommodation for a small community of just 64 residents seeking residential care at all levels in a safe and supporting environment. A Registered Nurse is on duty 24 hours per day as well as trained care staff providing best practice care.

Located in Dungog at the foot of the beautiful Barrington Tops, Lara Aged Care boasts magnificent views from most rooms in the facility. 

Our Lifestyle Activities include gentle exercise, art therapy, music, craft, movies and more as well as church services and a regular ‘happy hour’. A village bus is also available for social outings to the local shops and places of interest. 

Fresh and nutritious meals are cooked onsite and we have a commercial laundry as well as facilities for residents who wish to launder their own clothing.

Residents live in spacious sun-drenched private rooms with ensuites with 24-hour call buttons and enjoy garden courtyards and the delightful aquarium and aviary.

Lara Aged Care also features a hair salon and a senior’s kiosk with computers so family not living in Dungog can still maintain regular contact with loved ones.
