Mark Donaldson VC House at Rowland Village, Galston is a living community for 66 seniors who require high care, low care, residential aged care including dementia or nursing home services. 

There is around-the-clock presence and influence of registered nurses and care assistants. The home is designed for people who need medical/ rehabilitative and restorative care. 

Meals are prepared based on individual dietary needs. The type and amount of care a person receives is dependent on what is needed to maintain his or her ‘normal’ lifestyle and includes assistance with basic activities of daily living (eating, bathing and grooming, toilet help, dressing, transport, etc.) in which a resident may require help or supervision. 

Our Lifestyle Activities include gentle exercise, music, art, craft, bingo, movies and church services as well as a weekly ‘happy hour’. A village bus is also available for social outings to the local shops and places of interest.
