Site Features and Amenities
Allambi is Eldercare’s largest facility, with 119 single rooms, all featuring individually controlled air conditioning units and ensuites.
There are numerous courtyard gardens, as well as outdoor entertaining areas, and extensive, well-maintained garden areas. Additionally, there are raised gardens beds for resident use through our gardening program, a covered area for BBQs and family functions and outdoor seats from which to admire the gardens.
Meals are cooked onsite daily by a chef. A continental breakfast is provided Monday - Saturday, with a cooked breakfast offered on Sundays. There is a choice of two courses for lunch and three courses for evening meal.
An Internet kiosk is available for residents to utilise with assistance from volunteers to enable residents to maintain relationships with families and friends.
Lifestyle
In addition to our comprehensive clinical care program, we offer an extensive lifestyle program. We also have our own hairdressing salon, computer kiosk, and pet therapy program. A chaplain is on site full time to provide emotional and spiritual support to our residents and their families.
Lifestyle staff provide regular bus trips for the residents to destinations chosen at the monthly Residents' Meeting.
Our large and motivated volunteer group enhances our professional services in specialist areas such as palliative care, dementia-specific care and pastoral care. We have established relationships with local artists and have been awarded for our intergenerational program supporting Learning Assistance Program students at the Warradale Primary School.
