Hamilton Retirement Village

Hamilton Retirement Living is ideally located at 194 Morphett Road, Glengowrie on the site of the old Hamilton winery. The village is located minutes from the Marion Shopping Centre, Glenelg and Castle Plaza. Hamilton Retirement Living is comprised of two bedroom independent living units.

Beautifully maintained gardens are a unique feature of the village. The oldest grape vine in South Australia was planted here by the Hamilton family in 1837. It still remains a feature today.

Located in the heart of the village is Hamilton House, the historic bluestone homestead. Hamilton house is used for regular resident activities and functions. The notice board keeps residents informed of what activities are happening throughout the month should you choose to participate.

The Village caretaker attends the site throughout the week. The caretaker is on hand to assist residents change a light globe, hang a picture or organise the heavier maintenance requirements such as repair of hot water services or leaking taps.
