Wimmera Lodge
The first stage of development has now been completed, which included 6 homes and the community centre. There are plans for caravan storage, workshop and community vegetable garden in the stage.

At Wimmera Lodge, our residents can continue to enjoy an active lifestyle, with full access to the Community Centre featuring a library, fitness room, areas for indoor and outdoor dining and entertainment. In addition, a petanque court, and plans to include caravan parking and a community vegetable garden are being considered for later stages as the village grows.
Retirement living in the village is low maintenance. The monthly maintenance fee (still to be fixed), allows for your home to be fully maintained externally, and with all fixed appliances such as hot water units, air conditioners, cookers etc all properly maintained. The village front gardens, roadways, lighting, as well as the Community Centre will all be kept neat and tidy and looking their best.
You pay for your own power, phone and other charges which are directly billed to you; insurance for your own contents; and enjoy the freedom of doing your own thing with your private backyard, and with your internal décor.
Your family are welcome. If you wish to have grandchildren stay over, or friends who visit, you can feel comfortable welcoming them here. Wimmera Lodge is also pet friendly. Provided your pet is well behaved, we believe they should come with you, and continue sharing their lives with you in retirement.
