What is the National Prioritisation Process?

National Prioritisation Process

My Aged Care is the entry point to the aged care system and manages a national system for prioritising access to home care.  You will be placed in the national queue after you have been approved for a Home Care Package.  Once you reach the front of the queue you will be assigned a Home Care Package which you can use to receive care from a provider of your choice.   

If a package is not available My Aged Care will help you explore interim options, for example, services under the Commonwealth Home Support Program or a lower level of Home Care Package.
