Length of time you can stay in a Home Care Package
You can stay in a Home Care Package for as long as you need and for as long as the provider is delivering services as agreed. This is called ‘security of tenure’.
The Home Care Agreement must describe the conditions for terminating the home care agreement.
There may be some instances where you have a personality clash with a service provider or care staff. You can ask the provider to change the individuals who come into your home. You can speak to your case manager if you have a concern about the service
